Hi Everyone,
I recently ordered a number of odd-lots bags and backings, including the backing for KAF28EM.
This is the 11" X 16" size for early magazines c. 1900 (that was the size of Scientific American in those days).
I ordered 50 backings and noticed when I got them that there is a slight bow in the cards along the center of the 16" length. I had ordered a number of other card sizes and am using them to weigh down and flatten the KAF28EM cards.
If this doesn't work, I was wondering if a slight bow in backing cards like this is anything to worry about. Obviously in a bookcase they'd be pushed flat by the books adjacent to them. But flat on a table, say at a comicon or other sale, they'd bow up slightly in the middle.
Should I forget about it and go with what I've got, or try to get replacements from Bags Unlimited?
Thanks for your time,
Big Al Mintaka
